Braves Signed
Where can I find the value of an Atlanta Braves signed Baseball?
I have a Baseball that was signed by the entire Atlanta Braves team that won the World Series and I want to know how much it is worth.
I would avoid going to a baseball card shop at all costs to find the value of your ball. Most card dealers are pretty shady, at best, and would likely tell you that the ball is worth about $100, but "to be a nice guy", he'll give you $110. Meanwhile, he'll turn around and sell the ball for $500 to $1000.
The plain and simple truth is that it's worth as much as you can convince someone to pay for it. If you have a big Braves fan who has been looking for one, you could get into the thousands. If you go to a card show or on eBay, you might get in the low hundreds.
Either way, assuming that they're legitimate signatures, I'd hang on to this ball for at least 10 to 20 years. It has two pitchers signatures that will definately be in the Hall Of Fame after they retire (Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine), and quite a few other stars. The Braves were no doubt the team of the 90's, and a team signed ball from their only World Series win in the decade will only increase in value.
